The Calendar Committee will soon begin the important work of developing proposed school calendars for the 2026–2027, 2027–2028, and 2028–2029 school years. To ensure these calendars reflect the needs of our entire community, the committee will include administrators, teachers, classified staff, and parents across all grade levels (K–5, 6–8, and 9–12). Directors are asked to participate on the committee or designate a representative from their department.
We are asking for your help in sharing this opportunity to your parents and community. In addition to staff interest, parents and community members are invited to participate by completing the survey at the link below. Please consider posting the link on Class Dojo or your school messenger so families can engage in the process.

The first committee meeting will be held late October. Space on the committee is limited, so school level representatives will be randomly selected from those who express interest through the survey.
An email will also be sent to KUSD All with the survey information so staff across the district can consider participating.
Thank you for helping us gather input to shape a calendar that supports both student learning and family needs.
